Yeah Snap and Second Dinner are truly bizarre. Most companies try to milk people over years and not outright fuck them (or at least wait a decade) but SD gave up like 3 years in? Maybe even less if we count spotlights at the start of it all. Makes it seem like a massive rugpull from the start. Im sure their new game will be trash solely because they've shown how incompetent they are so there's no reason to think the new game won't be a buggy mess.

Theyre just stupid. That's it. It's not even malicious at this point but rather pure stupidity. There was so much time to do bug fixes or qol stuff. So much time to make GOOD monetization options that's whales would buy like new boards and such (will never happen since making new boards will probably make the game explode). I genuinely cant understand how someone can make a game but have all the coding be so bad that updating it and adding content is an impossible feat.
