>What is Marvel Snap?
The GOTY CCG from the creators of Hearthstone. A deck is 12 card singleton. Players play 6 simultaneous turns to 3 lanes. Winning 2 lanes wins the match. Matches are played for ladder ranks (cosmic cubes) and players can SNAP once per match to double the stakes (max 8 cubes).

Cards unlock in a random order, but specific cards are unlocked within specific collection level (CL) ranges: Series 1 cards (CL 18-214), Series 2 (222-474), and Series 3 (474+). Series 4 (Rare) and 5 (Super Rare) cards can be purchased directly with Collector’s Tokens that can also be used to buy Series 4 or 5 Snap Packs that are cheaper but dole out random cards from certain pools.

If you are a traditional move player Hellion is meta and it seems to be the focus of how SD wants to balance the archetype with big stat move enablers and less scaling on the move payoffs. Not sure it will work, but we'll see. They can also be stubborn about certain things like when people kept asking for Hercules and 2099 to be lower cost and Glenn sperged out.

Mercury is the villain of the meta right now. If you have cball you have an easy 1-2 card combo that is just killing everything. Will maybe get nerfed?

Prodigy is only used in Invisible Woman First Steps End of Turn decks. Esme is only used in negative. Kid Omega is used in Nimrod and that new Phoenix Force deck. Surge is generically good 2 drop and Xorn is just a bad card that only sees play in that Red Wing deck.

I have all cards. I've experimented a lot, real fun. This archetype is the greatest combo builder.

Currently trying to get bunch of 1cost and airwalker being eaten by venom, which is then destroyed by kid omega, all but venom ressed by morgana, venom ressed by elixir/firelord next turn.
It saves 1 turn from my regular deck.

Damn shame morgana doesn't create like zombie copies of the destroyed card, so that way they'd be considered created in hand, to be buffed by quinjet and mrs hands.

Am I the only one who enjoyed this HV more than all the other ones? People were crying about the tech ban but I feel like the mode is finally doing it's goal of just letting people do silly combos. I do think they could have banned negasonic and canonball/mercury but it's largely ok. Stardust is quite strong but only if you just do 1 iq Zola stuff mainly which is deserved (yeah ultron and white tiger get messed up too but again a lot of other things don't so just don't play tunnelvision gold rank slop or play rogue). It really does feel nice to not constantly go against full tech decks and instead go against decks with some semblance of a real strategy.

the problem with HV is that most people are just focused on rushing the quest, it's difficult to take the mode serious when there's no downside in losing (yes i know i am saying sd is right but hey, they are), regardless snap requires A LOT of time investment and if I have to play I'd rather play where I can have fun and where I can actually get something in return. HV once you've finished the quests doesn't have any real meaning (and no, 20 points for a win is not meaningful in any way) and personally I get way more fun in ranked

I usually stay in when that happens to see if I can crawl it back, and I'm proud to say that twice I've managed to win overall by chipping them away 2 cubes at a time. I'm pretty sure that they were both curiously silent when that happened. It helps that you learn how they play, as well as get to know their deck.

Ah nah, my emote spammer was playing some variant of Cannonball/Wiccan goodstuff. From what I can tell, most of the shitters are playing that type of deck and act like Mercury into Cannonball is a galaxy-brain move that their opponents can't possibly fathom.

Ironically, the cool Galactus guy I played was doing Blink shenanigans as well but he was nice. We were complimenting each other's cards (he had a tricked-out Flaviano Galactus) before I got salty and decided to lock in. It was actually that Blink manoeuvre that tilted me the most since it was so hard to predict. Actually a cool strat if I think about it because it forces you to think more about costs when deck-building.

Insane turn 5. I did my typical Werewolf stuff, the Merlin spell to create transform a card into a one that costs one more gives me Gorgon shutting him down from playing his cards created by cloning vats.
I do my typical Werewolf stuff and played Monkey into cloning vats to get an even bigger Monkey to play on turn 6 but then Grand Central pulls the created Monkey to put down a shit ton of power going into 6.
