Not according to the finances. Which is what blockbuster really means.
XIV is at it's lowest point in history both critically and financially.
Arguably the last blockbuster FF release would be VII Remake, in my opinion. The last time consoles were sold for FF.
XV was blockbuster too. It sold PS4s. But it sat amongst a sea of spin offs and sequels and mixed media, damaging the cohesion.
XIII was also blockbuster, despite its many flaws. It sold PS3's and made money, yes it did, despite the trilogy cash in damaging the cohesion.

XVI and Rebirth both failed to be the blockbusters that we all wanted them to be, despite some people really enjoying those games.
Some fans gravitated more to XVI, some gravitated more to Rebirth. But the mainstream gravitated to other games.
