is it considered rude to take kroak to a pickup game?

we dont have a particular stigma against named characters, my opponent regularly takes arkhan and kurdoss, and i often take skragrott or yndrasta, but i recognize that kroak is potentially on another level. i havent actually played him in 4th, i've heard seraphon have been dialed back somewhat. i really love the model and would like to field it, but i also dont want to create a feelsbad in a fairly casual game.
