We had an in-person game but it just got easier to play online. I use Tabletop Simulator, these days. I'd say it's 60% of the way there. It's just a tabletop. Import maps and books and minis. You've got dice and sheets on the table, and move things around like you would at a real table. It's not great but it's not bad, and I'll take it over constant cancels. I still paint minis and have dice and physical books, but yeah scheduling is just way the hell easier, over a VTT and Discord call. I don't like the VTTs that try to turn it into a video game, personally. I like this one that just gives me a table.
