Better than buying Russian systems and then have them back-stab you and give the codes to those systems to your enemies to bypass. Exactly like Russia did to Iran and Syria with giving their SAMs codes to Israel. We have actual proof Russia does it, do you have any actual proof the US does? Oh, and Germany wants something that actually work as advertised (or better), unlike Russian and Chinese systems.
