Keep them in a cool, reasonably humid dark place with good ventilation like a root cellar and they will stay fresh for about 6-8 months. 50 pounds will last me until spring. All the leftover potatoes will be sliced up and replanted in Marchish to make the potatoes I will eat next year.

Combat is really good, the music and art is amazing. The exploration feels kinda limited, but I have only just started the game and haven't unlocked all of the progression skills.
