Pretty good. I preordered EUV Premium edition and am really hyped for the 4th of November to waste my life on it. I'm also looking to upgrade to DDR5 32gigs of RAM and 7 7800X3D from 16 gigs of DDR4 and 5 5600G. Hopefully next week or the week after it i will do the upgrade.

I haven't read other SK books but i plan to. The shining is probably next after The Institute. You're right he's a bit of a slow burn author but i like it. I like to take my time with books and waste hours reading.

I've actually never read The Shining. The Dark Tower series, It, Tommyknockers, Night Shift was probably my first (and a fun anthology), and maybe ten others.

I'll spare you the suggestions, but mention that his style now and back before the accident are pretty different. His coke days actually show in his pages as well, sometimes with fantastic consequences.

Two or three years ago I was super into Genshin. A summer event dropped and I chose to explore the new area before continuing with the story quests. It was completely barren. One or two hours of exploring empty islands. I then found out I needed to advance the story to populate the islands with stuff. I've since sworn off gacha forever. It was the final straw in a host of other complaints, such as missable Events and gear that are crucial to the plot and some builds. I guess it was a good thing in the end. A part of me still wishes I had gotten into Genshin from the start and made an honest effort to keep up with all the content.

How many hours do you have in map painting games? I'm still a beginner, started playing them religiously a month ago or so but i have like 300 hours in all games combined(Stellaris, CK2,CK3, EUIV, Vic3 and HoI4)

I'm playing resident evil 2 remake with infinite ammo cheat and have no regrets.

I have nothing fancy, but I would say my top three (I've had) are Glenfiddich, McCallan 18, and Maker's Mark 46. I cut my teeth on Crown, loved the blended stuff, but have a tolerance for it, so I could never get smashed on that alone. Rumple Minze usually did the trick.

Now, if I have even as spoonful, it turns my guts to battery acid. I still have bottles I cannot drink unless I want to spend the week in the bathroom.

I don't understand any of these criticisms except for the roleplaying aspects being weaker, its the same chart leveling system as any other modern BGS title, also the gear criticism is only partially valid, with better shit being hard to find and the ammo economy being a bit annoying

I think is great, probably one of the best factory games. The controls is just a 3D camera like in an editing software, is kinda weird in the beginning but you get used to it quickly. The loop of trying and fixing shit constantly is part of fun (this is in fact a very autistic game for very autistic people).The only issue I have is that for being a factory game doesn't really care about maximizing the use of your resources like giving you a 10x10x10 square of whale meat but you can only use 4 units because the machine can't handle more so the rest goes to waste and other similar things

If you play it for yourself, the first thing you should do when you get into the gameplay is swap the attack and jump buttons in the pause menu. By default, the game has the main attack mapped to X and jump mapped to Square; personally I just swap the two.

They did and gave the game a real good overall. the shop now has better images and description of items. a lot of the characters got visual overalls, the map changed a few months back as well.

That is true but in my case it is because the gave me a task but haven't given me any designs or apis to work with and it is something I have never done before and the resources to learn how to properly do it are scarce.

Blasphemous 2. Finding the randomly mob enemy challenge rooms that gatekeep progression more difficult than any boss I have fought so far. It's okay, but nothing special. The style is good, the combat is excellent, but the inability to sequence break makes it feel kind of linear. Tired. Finished getting all my preparations for winter finished and have a pantry filled with enough canned veggies to last me until next winter and about 50 pounds of potatoes in the root cellar. Garden is planted with broccoli, cauliflower, and collards. In about two weeks I will be planting the beets, carrots, green beans, kale, mustard greens, and peas. I had way too many plums this year so I preserved them in honey & spices, and will give some away at Christmas. Wood shed has three cords of seasoned wood stacked and ready to burn, three cords that need to season until next year, and roughly three cords worth of rounds ready to split next summer. I bought and installed a pioneer princess wood stove this spring, so I am looking forward to seeing how warm the radiator will keep the house and how effectively I can cook and bake with it.

Non union companies aren't hiring unless you nepo your way in. FFS, most of them ask for a 2 year degee now. The Union has work they are doing but don't need apprentices atm and when they do, I'm like 7th in line to be offered something because Book IV is technically a member, but not part of their training program, so lowest rank. I'm the FNG who isn't part of the sekrit klub. All I can do now is wait and study.

It's open book where you're basically hunting down references, tables, and calculations for electrical code questions. Like all things, boomers got it easy and then proceeded to make it overly complicated because young blood ran laps around them. So so. Had to work on my birthday and my friends didn't call me to say happy birthday. Like fuck I took care of my best friend multiple times this year alone when he got sick and I got not even a single text to say happy birthday. At least my little sister baked me a cake. Had to come into work early today(overtime yay). At least I'll be making thrice as much money for the extra early hours. Just tired. Job I applied for has been dragging out the hiring process so I'm stuck at current job for what seems to be a few more months. Current supervisors have been nice. Banjo Tooie on Xbone, got 24 jiggies so far. Took me a while to really get into it though since levels have very muted color palates compared to the original and they're fucking huge and interconnected, but beyond that I'm having a ton of fun. I just wished that the levels were far smaller though and that navigating them didn't take so long even with warp pads, would turn what seems like a potentially great sequel into a 3D platformer masterpiece.

I recalled this horrible memory of interpreting at work for a deaf man a few times as he was a high value client and upper management wanted him to feel well supported and that our company could cater to every last need he had. After one meeting we were sitting eating lunch and he turned to me and sparked up a conversation. He asked who I learned for and I told him it was for a partner. Then he started gushing about how lucky she was and I could just barely hold it together. To me, it's like a language for the dead. Hard to describe. Yeah, boil 'em first and drain the water. I fry the chicken first, then add the veggies when the chicken is almost done, then the sauce and lastly the noodles. Usually I leave the chicken to marinade over the day in snoy sauce and shao hsing wine (you can find this at any Asian food store). Sometimes I also like to add peanuts, in that case I pick unsalted non-toasted ones and add them into the hot oil before the chicken to toast them, they add a nice flavor.

It is crazy to think how good the games industry was, how much people looked forward to every new announcement, and how good we actually had it. Morgan Webb was the ideal girl for little jimmy me.

See if you can get the butcher at your local butcher to sell you beef bones cheap. Walk around your town until you see someone who has an herb garden in their front lawn and raid that shit at night. Roast dem bones in the oven, then slow simmer it in a massive stockpot with a bouquet garni mad from raided herbs. Strain and separate the bouillon from the solids. Use that bouillon to cook your barley. Also if you have root veggies you can roast them along with the beef bones, put them asside, and then add them into the bouillon to add more flavor and nutrition to the barely. Root veggies are usually cheap af and will add a ton of depth to your soup. Also when you are frying them ground beef and breaking it up make sure to pour off the juices before you add it to your soup. Stick the juices in the fridge over night and you can seperate them into collagen and tallow. Tallow has a ton of vitamins in it, a high smoke point, and can be used to cook other things. The collogen can be used to add a mice mouthfeel to other dishes. One of the things I like to use it for is leftover rice. Just toss some tallow in a pan, add in day old rice, then when it is almost done frying I add in some of the collagen to give the rice a nice silky mouthfeel, kinda like gravy but a simple beefy flavor. Also if you are using ground herbs and spices in your soup make sure to bloom it in a little bit of tallow before adding it to your soup, it will really bring out the flavor.
