i agree but this is a problem mirrored on the other side. cis men are not willing to engage with a lot of womens things, partly for sensible reasons, partly for bs reasons. the reality is men and women are growing apart, and more men and women are flexible in their sexuality than typically admit, and that degree of flexibility is malleable by circumstances.
every one of us whos slept with a straight boy in our teens knows this. its not that they dont find women sexually attractive primarily, its that theres complexity and flexibility and symbolic dimensions to perception. combine that with the unique attractions of homosexual relationships and you have more people trying to find a way for them to get out of the heterosexual lose/lose situation on both sides. im pretty sure the theyfab trend is cisfs exploring the concept of traps that 4chan and other places experimented with in the late 2000s and early 2010s, complete with in group only housing.
