I was going to say a Reising M50, but I just checked prices and I see asking price on those is now around $10k. If they were still $6000-$8000 and held there I would maybe save extra cash for several years and buy one some day. But now I’d say a realistic purchase would be an SVT-40. I’ve bought plenty of firearms between $1500-$2000, but never anything more than that.
