I do not think you you have to understand some of the fundamentals of Socialism. There is a heavy empathize on workers rights and unionizations, Things aim to close the enormous gap between worker and business owner.
Capitalism only purpose is to generate revenue, and those with revenue can generate more revenue, take up space, buy out land, etc. It will always serve the corporations and give more wealth to the wealthy, and seek to squeeze profit from the poor. Unions and worker rights get in the way of profit.
>exporting production and labor to foreign countries which depreciates the ability for the native working man to move on up.
That is a byproduct of Capital. CEOs owners are not fond paying their workers as it affects their bottom line. One example I can think off of my head is Elon Musk - extremely anti-immigration up until he realized the H1B Bill could get him cheap workers from third-world countries.
