So I came across a Tencate armor catalog and decided to do a little work on that Tencate armor guide I mentioned last thread. This is a starting, EARLY, draft and will be expanded at some future point.

Couple neat things about Tencate.
1. The only major armor company with no NIJ suspensions, product recalls, plate delaminations, et cetera.
2. Their ceramics are usually but not always (CX-950 IC / CR6450SA are mono) ceramic tile arrays, so they're strong in the multi-hit department but carry a weight penalty.
3. They are designed conservatively, and accordingly play third fiddle in the all-PE department to the thinner, lighter, probably less resilient latest all-PE from Hesco and Highcom.
4. They're like Highcom insofar as their Level IV lineup is exceedingly mediocre.
5. Apex overstates rating on the CR3200SA, saying it is rated for 7.62x54 LPS when it boasts no greater protection than M80 / M855. This is like the sixth time he's overstated ratings.
