Now that you mentioned it, Unleashed was pretty much a low stakes adventure when compared to previous titles like 06, where Sonic/Shadow/Silver were against the clock to save the world.
There wasn't any rush or worry about the earth being split into pieces when everyone is just casually living fine or don't give much of a shit.
