I mean evidently he didn't "die" he just got teleported away or something of that sort, but to answer that considering Morpho's role in (attempting) to harvest souls as is shown by what he tries to do with Soul Forgo, he probably just has Galacta Knight's spirit or soul within him. Could he escape? Probably???
Soul Forgo was able to escape probably due to it just being absorbed minutes prior and also it seething so hard that it was trying its darndest to escape from Morpho. Galacta Knight could do that, but you just need to give him a reason.
