Losing people you love is always painful, /v/ wouldn't understand becuase they've never loved anyone and nobody will ever love them back. I hope his dad is in heaven, but he was probably jewish.
The equivalent of that would be the USA bombing Russia. Russia wanting American tourists and the USA embassy in Russia gone, so they are offered to reject their american citizenship or leave, and instead the USA embassy decides to grab an ak47 and start shooting any Russian trying to kick them out.
