The company at which I'm doing my internship has told me that they won't be hiring me (or anyone) for the next 3 months (which is a way of saying never). How do I feel about this?

I've worked for free for the past two months as part of my studies and they've taught me and used me as free labor. Surely they can keep using me as labor but with a pay this time, right?
