Slayer is arguably low but not bottom tier in Xrd, he's just always got the potential to delete you no matter how bad the matchup is. He's disadvantaged against every high tier and even a bunch of the bad characters like Pot but even if you've got a 7/3 matchup against him the 3 games he wins he wins so hard it makes it feel even
>>536290290 is a good example, Sol's Gunflame makes it almost impossible for Slayer to play neutral if he gets to use it and his DP beats basically all of Slayer's normal pressure and oki options, but the one time he tried it TY called it out, punished and blocked his burst and then represented low commit, DP bait options often enough the Sol was afraid to try again, instead opting to run away and control space with up back j.Ps and similar things, which kept him from using Gunflame and let TY control the ground and constantly threaten teleport grab, react air throw the airdash j.Hs etc. It gets a little silly at the end when he starts just having fun with it and dashing around just for its own sake but it's actually really smart play and is basically how you have to handle the matchup because you can't really run his mix, which is actually quite good

I don't think you really watched that clip
Slayer didn't crossup in a way that DP autocorrecting would matter a single time
He got RRC hard called out on his burst, the route didn't matter at all
He did DP, it got baited, and then 2/3 of the rest of the interactions where he might have DPd were also DP baits, he'd have lost way faster by going for it every time
He FDd UP twice, which is not ideal but it's going to happen, even including P Dandy startup its like a 20f move, you're not going to IB it every time and 2Ding the first one would have exploded and the second one just whiffed on the BDC jump even after IB. After blocking it he got hit by the overhead once, but was out of range to link a followup so it was fine, and he jumped out once which was safe but got read
