For better or worse, I deleted the snippets about Lucario's feelings. I originally had Lucario musing about how easy it would be to track him down and tear his head off. And how maybe he had a moral obligation to do so. He didn't act on them, but they felt way too dark so I deleted them.

Yeah, that was the idea. Auditory illusion/hallucination because his vocal cords can't produce perfect human speech.

One engineer I met had laser-sharp eye contact in conversation. Complete opposite of the one that I based this zoro's mannerisms off. Never once looked away when talking with you. 100% eye contact with little other body language. Crazy smart and pleasant enough. But the guy hyper-focused on whatever he was working on or whoever he was talking with.
