Most British food would actually be really good if they cooked it differently, had different proportions/portions served, and/or seasoned it differently. Most of it really isn't that bad. The cheese and onion cob, for example, would be great if they had smaller portions of all ingredients, maybe toasted the bread, and perhaps added something spicy to taste
