If Denji does get weaponized I don't think it will be permanent, Fujimoto wouldn't write Denji out of the story for too long so an asspull like only his heart getting weaponized or him regenerating from weaponization would likely happen.

I'm actually surprised that after that "only do fun things" speech Asa still immediately sprung into action to save Denji, I guess she still can't behave selfishly after all, which means that she is still in living hell.

But watch as next chapter instead of a heartfelt moment we get some dumb joke and a quick return to the status quo.
