There's been a reversal of roles between Asa and Yoru where Yoru is increasingly coming off as a hypocrite and a blowhard for all of her earlier treatment of Asa.
Yoru's mentality is to just feign toughness and to just "get over it" without thinking about it , which in Fujimoto's writing always loses out to being able to actually confront your demons and overcome them.

Part 2 feels like it has no stakes. There’s no agenda and no sense of urgency. The bad guys are uninspired evil just for the sake of evil. Asa’s relationship with Denji is the only interesting thing but it has been talked about to death. And the side characters might as well not exist at this point because they don’t serve any purpose. There’s nothing interesting to talk about right now except wait for Asa Mitaka to tear Falling a new one because at this point she is more of a protagonist than Chainsaw Man right now and that really says a lot about the state of this manga.
