Do you think some of the stranger Karate strikes might’ve been made for people with mutant body parts? I saw a video a while ago about weird strikes in Karate and one of them was picrel (I forgot the name). The narrator said something like the strike didn’t make sense and you’d have to condition your hands a crazy amount. But when I make the fist with my own right hand it feels solid, while my left which lacks a club thumb feels more awkward. Do you think I could make this strike work in the real world? For me, the solar plexus seems like the best and most intuitive target for this blow.
