I tried raiding but I don't know how that's fun even with friends. You're just doing the exact same thing over and over again and hoping your retarded fill won't fuck up. It's not even "hardcore" or anything since you can't carry your team. Even rhythm games have more skill put into them because if you fuck up it's on you. You could do everything right and STILL get fucked because some idiot fucking doesn't know how to grab tethers. Is this even cope? I mean yeah I'm mad about not being able to clear but it feels like a core fundamental problem with raiding. I don't even know how'd you fix it.

They actually managed to make WoL into a genuinely cool as fuck character. That stoic straight forward non nonsense character they gave him made him seem like the perfect representation of how most people imagine their cool JRPG hero. They even fleshed it out in Stranger of Paradise which makes it even better.
