you're not accounting for the 3 seconds it takes to raise and lower the external ammunition supply boxes each time.
3 seconds to raise the drums + 12.8 second reload for two shells (6.4 seconds each) + 3 seconds again to lower the drums for a total of 21.8 second reload time for TWO shells.

this is not accounting for the fact that the turret locks forward on reload, so when you're ready to fire you have to swing your turret and bloom the turret dispersion like crazy.

the auto-reloader playstyle is kind of bad for the AS-XX 40t as a result...
