Ackshually Dooku had a brother and a nephew in Legends, featured in Agent of the Empire - Hard Target in which a Serenno noble schemes to replace Dooku's brother as ruler of Serenno. Zsinj just took it over using either his vile jew sorcery or the Iron Fist.
Hard Target has some great spy movie vibes, though I remember Iron Eclipse being kind of ass.
imo Ostrander is much better at writing underworld or glowie kind of characters than Jedi or other good guys.
