I've done streaming in the past, mostly of niche games I just happen to enjoy, but over the span of like 3 years since I started haven't done more than 20 or 25~ish streams at most.
Some had a few live viewers, like 10 or so, some didn't even reach 2, probably my personal favorites were just playing through Armored Core 1 from start to finish on one go, as well as streams of some other old games.
Also had a backlog of games I purposely didn't play even though I really wanted to, because I wanted to stream them, still have them and still haven't touched them.
I enjoyed streaming, and people seemed to like my voice, but when I would rewatch the VODs myself I would not enjoy the audio balance and that was something I spent a lot of time trying to figure out but couldn't properly fix.
But then I kind of stopped because even though my voice is fine, I'm not very used to actively talking, so when rewatching VODs it always felt like most of my commentary was just slight reactions to things or very obviously trying to force myself to talk about something.
Being a retard who's main language is not English but can't think of words in anything but English really didn't help much for being able to say what I had in mind most of the time, and it was also hard to live-translate what I was reading.
Both of these things ended up giving me a bit of feelings of anxiety, because I know some people would join, see how awkward I was and walk away...
...And finally I also was streaming using an avatar of a character I really like, but I wanted to go and make my own, make it something more personal, but that's a project I never end up finishing, so it kind of also helped put the whole streaming thing on stop.
