In Exodusd when God assigns an angel to watch over the israelites and tells them that this angel has his name within it.
The later texts describe this figure as the lesser YHWH, and since both use the same name you are able to refer to one or the other as you wish. This is no different than the other word for God they use 'Elohim' which is used in some passages for the one true God and some for the many other Gods/angels.
in 3 Enoch YHWH punishes the lesser YHWH for letting others believe that he was also a God.
