Hearing Neichel's unfinished song unexpectedly had my schizokino radar screaming full blast and furiously bashing my head in like what the fuck stop.
Listen to me. Hear me out. Let me explain why everything surrounding this singer is completely batshit. Listen to my schizo rant.
It's confirmed through the figurine descriptions that she has clairvoyant abilities, as it was her that deciphered a prophetic poem passed through ages. She has an exceptional talent to see the future unmatched through a number of generations. In the 'Unfinished song', this is demonstrated when she sings about events happening eons in the future, such as the mechanical hearts of Nova, the passenger stars, or the overt 'Tickets dance in a land of lies, remains of good dreams gone so wrong.'
That last one should cause you to pause for a bit.
Most likely, it's referencing the 'good dreams' of the New Worlders' hopes of interdimensional migration ultimately having disastrous results as seen in the wreckage of Halcandra. The initial line that speaks of 'remains' of good dreams likely references Magolor and his theme park, as he can be chalked up as a remnant of the Ancients/New Worlders seeing as he lived in their former home (the object of their dreams) and was influenced greatly by them - and even if it's not Magolor, the ship is still there as a 'remnant' nonetheless.
Now, you should already feel a sense of dissonance at this point, assuming this theory is true.
The only singer that Kirby hears throughout his time in this wide new world also possesses the ridiculous power of seeing an uncountable number of years into the future, and they're in direct reference to the people close to him, or at least phenomena and events that he had become deeply entangled with. Not only that, but she just casually had knowledge of her people's own downfall.
Isn't it a bit strange?
