>So what exactly does the Toybox path entail and why does so many builds had chosen it?
You get stuck in a pocket universe with SRTR, and can't leave until she figures out how to break free, or someone lets her out.
On the bright side, it means that the current mess with Charlie, the Nightmare, etc, is someone else's problem. So you still get to be the Eleventh Outsider, with all the perks that implies, but without the responsibilities.
On the downside, you might not like how everyone else resolve these problems (or not). Plus, until someone lets you out, you're stuck in a pocket universe with a psychotic adrenaline junkie goddess who believes that strife brings out the best in people.
Variant on the idea - take Theta, and then try to escape the Toybox on your own. If you succeed, you've just neutralized your death letter, and probably won favor with SRTR. Of course, that still means you have to deal with Charlie, the Nightmare, etc - and they may be worse than when you went into the Toybox.
