Anyone got any good CYOAs where you're a wizard? Ideally summoning focused. I'll even take anime slop ones - not fate faggotry.

how important is Rhucuphre as a mentor if you're going for dream stuff? I know she was behind the beginning of pandemonium, but she's so expensive, and all she's guaranteed to teach you is some admittedly high level stealth stuff.

Also, anyone have an idea how strong Upunth's dream stance stuff is supposed to be? seems like it's allow some pretty high tier nonsense.

Gangnam style was good imo. All other K-pop sounds really uninspired. I'd expect pop music to be catchy (like ABBA), but K-pop other than gangnam style is never even catchy. Yet somehow it fills some kind of niche. Even if it's about optics, wouldn't it be better if the music was good/catchy as well? A mystery.

Upunth is the best "Magic Martial" mentor by a wide margin, he handily bears Xet and Zlata in their respective strengths (Reality Warping Hax >>> Rage Strength Boost/Defensive Aura). Only a combination of their two styles could pose a threat to him. Also remember how his description says that even he himself hadn't reached the full potential of his style. So the limits are still blurry given even greater credentials to it.

Hey, Anons, I'm the creator of the latest "unplayable" cyoa. Full adventure: https://www.imgchest.com/p/lqyemdxdx7d

I need feedback on the companions. Specifically on those that are bad and I should throw them out, and suggestions for companions to add (bc I just writing in random ideas and I feel like I missed some must-have archetypes).

I honestly didn't care about companions much (and was proven 100% right while playing through it, can't kill all the companions if you don't have companions). I was extremely confused at the realm/quest structure however. What you should've done IMO:
1. There shouldn't have been any starting stat divergence between isekai/realm start, it's just needless math and CYOA forces you to look back at options you selected and subtract your class stat bonuses if you selected isekai, for example. Should've been just linear addition with every option giving you +n to stat so you could select isekai and a class and a realm or whatever.
2. Claimed realm starts should've been expanded and broken into several choices instead of being a single choice. Because I for the love of me couldn't comprehend how many conquest quests I should've gone through one after the other, depending on which realm I was in. I think I went through 3 including conquering the orcs, and reading the same page 3 times in a row is not that fun. Perhaps you should've just listed the realms and fluff for them so instead of the general "claimed realm" you could start in the Empire, Union etc., then made conquest quests exclusive to the realm in question. That would've required more work but at least you could actually play through the CYOA without gettin an aneurism.
3. The whole premise of being cursed for who the fuck knows what adds nothing to the multiversal war storyline except building resentment in the player (as we find out later, it's actually the multiverse's spite or whatnot so it's even worse because it's not even your fault you get royally fucked). I also didn't find any option to turn yourself into undead or something similar (dragging your soul to the phylactery when you turn to dust might've been one way to try to cheat it) despite Dark mentioning creating undead. I was banking on that and selected soul + dark but it turned out to be a nothingburger.
Anonymous No.96481039

Hmm... Adding more undead options is a good idea. I've overlooked that.

If you want to increase enjoyability of play have more degrees of success and failure than just you win or you get permanently enslaved/killed. Also have all options start with only one piece of the combo and have the connected pieces add more points successively so your rewarded for finding interesting comboes rather than punished for not thinking of the authors exact ideas.

What you are suggesting is getting rid of the endings and just leave open-ended outcomes that imply combinations between themselves. This requires from reader ability to read between the lines. This doesn't work, as the endings was added PRECISELY because during fist testing and feedback people were obsessively complaining about the curse like fucking possessed by something.

I added the curse here to test one of my concepts of explaining re-spawn mechanics like in games, basing lore on classical polish Upiรณr legends (modifying it a little, to not give the reader more weakness). I haven't even comprehended that this would aggravate people so much it did. Like, wtf? There is so much cyoa about afterlife, that one with the concept that you eventually die should be a no issue. But for some reason NO.

Anyway, I'll be working on widening the options and making the Realmverse narration more flexible, but the thing is that 90% of reader problems with the Curse of Immortality is not me and stiff options I give, but the readers hyperfocus on it.

Anyway, I was asking about companions. You seriously haven't picked anyone?

I'm gonna be honest I just picked the most tolerable one who didn't share any abilities with me. The animal companions seem rather unfleshed out with only two unique ones which makes the entirety of animal handling look completely worthless on a first run through and even after given very little suggestion is given of how they can actually be used, signposting these things would be good.

In terms of humanoid companions I would say that Shas and Kurara are the least interesting to interact with on a cursory run through Kurara because she's kind of mundane and Shas because he's a schizo who would probably be unfun to interact with. Add some earth based companions with a gun focus as well Mingaile is the only one who even tries at guns vs magic, a crazy scientist or manipulative politician would be cool.

I wasn't talking about endings I was more thinking of the individual events, honestly I don't care about the curse, 100 years is enough for me since I'll be a gigachad saviour of the planet by the end anyways.

Honestly don't see what else you need. Nothing really says we have an innate technique so having Shikigami expertise is great for making up for the lack of it, and having CE skill on par with Sukuna is just insane. Stack that with Intelligence and enough Cursed Energy to make use of it and we got an extremely strong Shikigami user with enough creativity and skill to handle any situation.

>Patron God: 0^0
>Reincarnation: Extra Mentor, Extra Companion, Burn the Future x4, Outer Tide
Mostly posting this to "canonize" it in my mind since I picked the Tide. Every solo build I tried ended up unfun since I felt I must pick certain things to stand a chance, and in a scenario like this I wouldn't pass MP option.

>Mother: Thonodreth-From-Agartha (Yest' + Zhievete)
>Father: Aat
>Races: Majin
She seems pretty laid back about demons, which is a good trait for mother of a cursed demon baby.

>Languages: Polyglot, Quietened (Late Thulean), Palatiner, Sylphid, Spriggan, Entramithraic, Tutored (Palatiner x1, Entramithraic x4)
Raking in points from companion slot with Palatiner. Not proud of spreading Entrashit everywhere, but my allies had such scattered languages...

>Inborn Gifts: Ethereal Beauty, Bulletproof Skin, Longevity, Misalliance (Sight Beyond Sight, Blazing Seal, Dead Sprint), Memory Retention, Attentiveness, Spiritual Feel, Wisdom, Intelligence, Cognitive Speed, Caster Intuition, Eye for Shadows x3, Grim Outlook x2, Inner Vision x1, Starsight x2, Autoantecedence, Multiocular O, Kneeling Twilight x2, Seraphic Wings, Letters of the Damned, Daemonhost
Magic and information related mind & eye gifts, making demons and cursed items for a DIY army, and flying & anti-bullet. For Eye for Shadows x3 I'd say it extends the unseeability effect to work just by the target entering my sight (so someone hiding or out of sight could still see me). As for Letters of the Damned I rolled letter & concept and got Dobro & luck, which is always useful (though not something to trust one's plans on).

>Location: Empire of Light & Dark / Exarchate, Hexland
Demon Empire of Dark & Light start. I'd be in good position to meddle in that conflict, though I'm not going to use fate assist here, and rocking the boat at this point seems counterproductive anyhow.

>Mentor: Herleva, Kashtanka (Glagoli), Nezvana (Zelo), Mlada (Shta + Zemlya)
Necromancy (escaping death letters by going demi-lick seems good, though I'll hold in case better path comes first), and "meta" skills of copying magic, comboing skills & gifts, and boosting gift use. Basically hoard magic and combine it smartly.

>Companion: Caeda (Her'v' + Zhievete)
She's effectively a teleporter and it should be copiable with Mlada's teachings. The best mobility skill in the cyoa IMO. With that and Daemonhost I could build up forces in places most inconvenient for 0^0 or bug off if I'm about to lose a fight and generally be global nuisance.

>Encounters: A Pack of Goblins, A Hob A Lean A Hobgoblin, A Band of Ogres, A Score of Orcs, A Bridge A Toll A Troll, A Daring Rescue (Mlada), Ready Aim Thunder (Nezvana), Interested And Dissolved Parties (Caeda), Immortal Coils of Intrigue (Herleva), Breaking and Entering (Kashtanka, gate to: Kita)
Laa di laa, Uruks can't see me...

>Death: Vedi
>Youth: Martial Training, Power Testing, Profane Lore, Leadership Training
>Quest: Patientia
Work in shadows to help others win. After I'm done with the starting location stuff (and sneaking around reading magic books / peeping at wizards casting), I'll use the (hopefully intact) magic gate to enter Tsoshu in force and start harassing Ecumene every which way. Using demons and cursed items with Eye for Shadows should make for a pretty good gorilla warfare unit, and necromancy provides both cannonfodder and way to recover losses. If other Outsiders are taking active approach against 0^0, I'd be open for coordinating efforts, though I can't be the spearhead of attack on her due to my blessing / quest limitations.

Injury - I fall over and break my arm on the floor at age 5 because no one was looking after me, this leaves me unable to safely return to Stygia due to lacking the ability to defend myself.

Feel free to put me in this outer tide, but I'm not going to try figuring out how it could fit right now.

Last time I didn't have any leverage for pulling the Old Throne into an alliance. Now I have Jdan's son as a companion. Stoyan is also no longer the biological father to get his inborn gifts, and the adoption perk was dropped entirely. Misalliance does it cheaper now. lots of other little changes while keeping the same flavor.
Dirk Yesod's mentorship comes from Eirina and Rucuphre if that wasn't clear enough.

She definitely didn't do this. Keter is half-empyrean (she wouldn't have a death slot otherwise), and a death letter in a half-empyrean works like pixies' Perpetuity, taking revival into account in enacting the fate. Yeah, this is pretty much my build too. Sukuna's understanding of cursed energy is an insane thing to be able to purchase and that (along with the barest shred of being able to interact positively with human beings) would turn you into Gojo's only peer overnight.
All the rest? Just icing on the cake. I'm not completely sure about what ultimate Shikigami skill would look like, but since Shikigami are just like, artificial curses, it sounds like you'd basically be Geto 2.0 except you'd make the curses yourself.

The only alternative I considered was just going all in on CE as:

>Sukuna's Skill
>Intelligence
>Immense Cursed Energy x 4

Yuta's insane cursed energy is remarked on a lot. Having double would basically just make you into 'ersatz Sukuna', because you'd have a comparable level of CE to the guy and his talent too.
I think it could be argued either way whether that's better than Shikigami however. Afterall we don't get to choose our innate technique so we probably won't be able to immediately fight equally with Sukuna even with this.

I'd prefer the Shikigami build for the sheer utility: doing shit like riding a dragon I made around or whatever sounds awesome. But if forced to choose I might well pick ersatz Sukuna just because of genre savvy. In the world of JJK the guy who punches people in the face is probably safer than the guy who sits back and lets his minions fight.

She just had a mentor to help with cheating death. Oilea of the Orthrung. She was more theoretical and Keter put her ideas into practice. Again, the corpse-run shit that we know Keter did (thanks to Thaumiel's entry) wouldn't have worked if 0^0 were just spamming death letters, because of how half-empyreality interacts with death slots.

It's also worth considering that Keter was still in the middle of her Buki at the time of their confrontation, so while 0^0 could fulfill that fate by attacking her spirit, it's unlikely that 0^0 could write a new fate just yet.

You can consider it a purely meta and mechanical thing, similar to the points themselves, or to how you can pick exactly four options for Youth and not five. What are the options in the process of making a build, and what the character constructed by the build can do, are two quite separate things.

What's the mistake there? If you nudge fate with tutoring so they know Everman before they meet you, and you then get the bonus for having the language bilingually yourself its -1 -0 +1. Makes perfect sense to me, more than the Keter trick (her requiring "any" language implies understanding or teaching without language just as well as knowing all languages)

By RAW, you could argue that Autoantecedence doesn't allow buying a third gift unless you already have a second.
By its meaning, I would argue that Autoantecedence allows buying anything that can fill it, even if it will do absolutely nothing, not even allowing use of it's contained gift, without a valid third gift.

My reasoning would be that if a Mentor fudged into a companion turns int a full value companion, a mentor fudged into a mentor+language is a full mentor of that language and qualifies for the interaction with Everman.
I mean, the language is literally designed to be a semi-magical lingua franca designed by the Second (or her brother) who was far from ordinary. Just like Auburn has magical qualities, the other Sepian language branch.

Margaset is fine for Exarchate as long as Blues win, and he can be replaced by his wife if you want. Thaumiel is the best ruler Dis has ever had, which isn't saying much but it's something. Dirk is great for now and when he finally kicks it or goes fully mad, Maiosara will be adequate. Vadim is actually pretty great for the Old Throne. I'm the one saying that you will always win since you are the one telling the story. Any build as long as they have a competent idea will work once inside the world because that is what would make the more interesting story. Saying that you wouldn't be able to survive without All-Glimpse, Intelligence, Daemonhost or whatever else is just stupid and shows a lack of imagination.
I like seeing different builds because I like the different stories people can come up with. There's nothing wrong with shopping list builds but they do become repetitive unless they actually explain what they would personally do.

>What does he mean by this? Is the spirit just a second body? Is this a setting with indestructible souls?
This is what I've concluded based on high level magic and the weirder deaths:
>For a refresher on how death works in Outer Reincarnation; we have souls, which are indestructible metaphysical identities responsible for perception and free will. These souls go into bodies. The interactions between a soul and a body produce a ghost, a biological process that reads, assigns, and creates capital-M meanings of things. A ghost will sometimes overflow from the body into becoming its own object. A ghost can be a vehicle of the soul, it can be a prison of the soul, it can even be its own kind of soulless shell. A certain chair has already reduced everybody who ever lives on this planet to the spiritual equivalent of carrion hundreds of times over.
>Outer Reincarnation has every play on this threefold relationship that it think of. One set of soul and body can have two ghosts. One set of soul and body can replace its ghost. Two souls can go inside one body and ghost. One body can have two different sets of soul and ghost. Two different sets of body and soul can have the same ghost.

In a scientific sense, it definitely does. The spiritual growth that elder gods are encouraging happens in response to experiences in life, and grander experiences lead to more profound spiritual growth.

In the way that you probably think of memories, those seem to be stored in the story of the world, which your soul should have only limited access to prior to ascension. Dei's remembrances work by grabbing a random soul that's ready to reincarnate and giving it the body, spirit, memories, etc of someone that it reconstructs from the world's memory. See Seo's description for the clearest example of this.) The Yee death letter in all likelihood works in a similar way, except that it promises both iterations will have the same soul while not promising the same body.

No you can heal. It says that most dark elves learn healing magic. The curse is just that they don't notice any physical changes to their body through touch. So they won't feel pain and know something is wrong. But if they get stabbed and see blood they know they are injured and can heal.

2. Be taught by an Elder God for 100 years. Extrapolating from Zenia's described abilities and likely mediocre innate talent, you will come out much greater than her.
3. Safe for 100 years. Not only safe from death, but also safe from Charlotte winning. SRTR won't waste her own time for 100 years and end with a meaningless reset. Nothing is more boring than a nothing burger, right?

>So what exactly does the Toybox path entail and why does so many builds had chosen it?
You get stuck in a pocket universe with SRTR, and can't leave until she figures out how to break free, or someone lets her out.

On the bright side, it means that the current mess with Charlie, the Nightmare, etc, is someone else's problem. So you still get to be the Eleventh Outsider, with all the perks that implies, but without the responsibilities.

On the downside, you might not like how everyone else resolve these problems (or not). Plus, until someone lets you out, you're stuck in a pocket universe with a psychotic adrenaline junkie goddess who believes that strife brings out the best in people.

Variant on the idea - take Theta, and then try to escape the Toybox on your own. If you succeed, you've just neutralized your death letter, and probably won favor with SRTR. Of course, that still means you have to deal with Charlie, the Nightmare, etc - and they may be worse than when you went into the Toybox.

Seems like a pretty straightforward, effectively be a parent to the other four siblings because Tam can only come by on weekends and Aat (Xian) is literally only around because he's a dormant curse and only speaks in dreams. Don't know how either got the True Love disease but I'm not one to judge. Perfect Home suggests to me that this family is probably on the southern edge of the Basin, near enough to Arcadia to receive some of its benefits. Going to assume that Valar gets hated by the local community due to a mix of early Pandaemonium plotting, sibling shenanigans, and somekind of failure at the Uruk attack, along with defending the local Marked One (negated from below-Hated by Blessing).

Punchardt is a simple man of simple methods. He does not seek fame, nor riches, nor the embrace of a woman, though these things often find him in his journey. He cares only for one thing. Punching things really, REALLY fucking hard. Towards this goal he devotes the entirety of his being. Every ounce of focus, will, and determination spent training, pushing the limit just a bit further each time. He does not reject companionship, though again he does not seek it either. The few who choose to walk alongside him must do so of their own accord.

His goal, to fight and kill the gods. Not for godhood (he wouldn't want it anyways), but to truly test the limits of his strength.

Autoantecedence Effect:
Bleeding Heart Gesture now cannot be blocked by magical effects. Causing harm to others heals proportional to damage dealt. If you have no injuries, the excess violence is stored as power to be released later. Additionally, you will retain any wasted energy when killing an enemy using this ability, beyond what it takes to render them a fine mist.

If you are only making a build for the sake of it then you can do it in just a few minutes after you have read the whole thing a few times. The only thing that really takes time is optimization, trying to make your build as good as it could be while not losing focus of the main idea.
I thought of several possible builds, and if I didn't care about making them as good as possible, I could just write them all down and fill all the gaps in the tide. But there's no point in drowning it with a single person writing, one build per anon is more than enough.

Various things the author has confirmed about Rise:

Most of the art is significant . . .except the Temperance du Mort.

Most of the options were written to combo with other picks.

The Black Coast is black because the Dragon Kingdom is on a flying continent that permanently eclipses the sun.

Deeja the lich mentor was Adolf Hitler.

Lady Wilhelmina (the centaur mentor) is basically an archery god, just without the immortality. If a shot can be made with a bow, she can do it.

Giving Andrea or Avesta a dose of Eldritch Muddler is a bad idea.

More Eldritch Muddler can be made.

Mido knows where the temple is.

The Eternal Comet can unlock all of Excalibur's power. Dusk Mirror, with both halves agreeing, can unlock almost as much (and both halves get a version of the sword).

Both halves of a Dusk Mirror get companions. Points spent on companions are effectively doubled, so both halves get the same number (no duplicates)

Garrett and Andrea are from two of QuietAnon's other cyoas. Garret is a brother option from Quiet, but no one has figured out where Andrea comes from.

Lusteria and Tyr are looking for each other.

Deliah is key to unlocking Avesta's best ending.

Not everything is known about the cyoa, and the author promised (and failed to deliver) a lore pdf, along with a page of "small" things you could buy with your points.

One Bleeding Heart Gesture is basically useless in the midst of combat after you use it once. It specifically has to be harm by your own hand. Way too slow and focus intensive. Nuke once on one target and it's done for that fight.

Greatriding Spurs is extremely questionable. First, the toybox that doesn't have anything for it to be used on. Second, you will come out op, so mounts are of very dubious utility.

>>96484297
>It's a Tenyora build.
That makes sense... in explaining the choices but not in justifying their usefulness. SRTR has more to teach than you can learn in a thousand years, so why add more things, things that are even inferior to the sacrifices?

>Uruk respawn doesn't let you keep your powers
That's not relevant in the toybox.

Now that I think about it, Uruk is probably the worst race to have in the toybox because of less points and Inhumanity collecting dust.

SRTR isn't going to just give you free godscript lessons for 100 years. That shit is repeatedly said to be a reward for loyal service, if you're not taking any initiative yourself she'll laugh in your face. It's the same reason bitter sickness isn't free for toyboxers -- SRTR can cure it but she won't, because that's lame.

Toyboxers finish learning everything from their mentors in 20-30 years and are left with nothing but time after that. You need to find a way to make that time productive yourself, and Tenyota sacrifices are one way to do that. Particularly since you have easy access to other Outsiders in a tidebox.

That said it's pretty obvious Southlanders (under Savmak) are just Germans while Southlanders (under Sarmat) are also burger-coded, if only because he injected them directly with American culture. That's a concern of mine in Colosseum at the Edge of Reality, too. Some of the most powerful gladiators have serious personality issues or other red flags to worry about. And personally, I think a healthy team that comes together well - or good parents to raise (you) - is worth the initial investment.

(Unless you're deliberately picking a problem so that you can solve it later, of course.)

Varvara is actually probably one of the worst new parents because she doesn't even work for a 'themed' build. Her thing is that she's a soldier in the skyship navy, but you don't get involved in any of that and she's retired from it by the time she raises you. She doesn't even train you in any of that, you don't go on adventures, you don' learn how to fly a skyship. It says she trains you in being a battlemage, but there are way better parents for that for even cheaper and who provide more than one trait for casters.

Doesn't even guarantee it's a safe/fun place. Pay a big fat whopping 10 points and you can tell it the VIBES you want in what random place you end up, that's it.

The CYOA DOES say it's possible to meet people without it being guaranteed by the Outsider System. I'm probably going to try and find Dobrava or Gunter on my own. If not, I'll try to have weight of numbers do something, since I intend on combining both Vanitas and Fundamentum as the buildup to the showdown with 0^0. I'm definitely going through the mercenary path early on, since at the end of the day I do largely intend on ultimately building up my own strength, but by the time I get to meet Nihlmatrix I hopefully should have control of the country and thus enough soldiers to take her down, or at least serve as a distraction so I can fight her on even footing. Honestly, I have a feeling one of said royal guards will be Nihlmatrix, since it says she hides as a random NPC.

If I fail...well, as you said, at least I go out like a firework, right? If I must fail, I'll at least give everyone a show. I've got a contingency plan in place that basically hardens the anti-Ecumene alliance, so even though I'll try to be the leader at the front, I'm hoping to leave behind institutions that can give enough weight to the twelfth.

I feel like DKMDR is the weakest nation in terms of flavor and narrative in general.
Pantorai himself has absolute shit genes and his Royal Claim has less weight and power to it compare to all others. Per Tankista Dread the Wyrm event will happen in the future even if you don't pick it. And it is outright states that Paxxia can die and entire realm can collapse like nothing.
For supposed child of Erginter you get nothing out of her. While she had a special build and used Misalliance, this is another downside.
Paxxia herself said to be really strong but you are required to specifically be under her or else she view you as a threat. And she doesn't have a profile so we don't even know how bad or good of a job she can do and if there are many benefits to it.
From perspective of fighting Ecumene, DKMDR is hard countered by them and this is why they are running. With most of Doria disliking DKMDR as a whole.
Main advantage you can get out of it is Apantoxia (with Thoroughbreeding minmaxing) but she will exist even if you are not a dragon and doesn't start in DKMDR.

Is it?
Previously we had just as much lore about Thaumiel and Dis.
But in updated version Dis, its kuudere dictator and majins in general got much better showcase while DKMDR only got Apantoxia and "maybe it will collapse on its own" with event.
Weaker build (from supposed super strong parents) and narrative weight of starting in weaker realm is not an issue by itself but overall presentation of DKMDR is weak. Look at Exarchate and its Civil War, it has much more going on with Blues and Whites and sub-factions in them. Exarchate also has Erginter's body which Paxxia doesn't seem to care about. If it was stated that she knows about brewing Civil War and plans to invade Chervonolin to get her mother's body back that would improve DKMDR's story and connection to the world and set up rivalry between DKMDR and Stygia.
Adding 3-4 more DKMDR options would fix it and I personally think it at very least need Erginter in mother section with "Must Pick Pantorai as Father" restriction and Paxxia as Adoption option with restriction of (you) being her sibling for it to be available. With being raised by Paxxia herself offering you some kind of narrative/mechanical payoff why this all worth it.

The 3 central sections that were for me the heart of the RYOA-to-be but also caused me endless headache in the difficulties of their combination, were: race, location of birth, and
circumstances of early life.
The early life circumstances should have a huge impact, much more than on a true Outsider. For example if your parents are fishermen then there should be a good chance you'll end up spending your life doing something sea-related, and try to utilize your Gifts in relation to that. If you roll some great Gifts, perhaps you can use it to recover a legendary magic pearl from an evil oyster and you'd be less likely to do something completely unrelated.

The race and family circumstances rolls were there in the WIP, but I wanted to greatly expand on the latter (more rolls), and make it more impactful on the long-term outcomes of the player, and make it compatible with rolls for the location of birth (not present in the WIP).

1)Iconic Prince (https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96473313/#96477816): I am glad that he is here and horrified with his expected lifespan. Most likely, I would find out about his existence quite late, since he is hiding from the Regency and takes the place of a character implied to exist canonically. Still, Massacre at Midnight and especially On The Edge would be a warning enough to investigate him thoroughly, even try to befriend in a cover identity. I want the Empire to fight Ecumene as long as possible after all, so helping him with information and procuring hard to get items serves my goals quite well. Would be fun to play a slightly too well informed mysterious character, occasionaly helping the hero on his journey.

If I ever find out about him taking Nilmatrix before the event happens, my priorities rapidly shift. Direct contacts would be reduced to minimum, he and his every contact get placed under constant survelliance, background checks for every person who spoke to him at least twice. I can't prevent Shadow of God from happening, but I can find Nilmatrix myself and be prepared. Projects are paused, favors are burned - this is all hands on deck situation. As soon as she reveals herself, I teleport a rapid response group of purpose-built majin right on her head and enter the fight myself. No one gets to enact their schemes on my backyard. Thanks to Charlie for sharing all the information required to turn the tables of her own volition.

Led (https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96454608/#96458991): This one is difficult. While my character in the CYOA would tear hair out of her head upon founding out about Led, I find it immensely funny that our Pandaemoniummax and Daemonhuntmax builds happened to meet on the same world. What a glorious story about rivalry!

She would probably be the first Outsider I find, just because I also wanted to enlist in the Daemonhunt. Not hearing about our own Demon Lord, tutored personally from birth by Leimeie would be practically impossible. Sadly, we would rarely interact directly (I like living and my Letter is very dangerous in this situation), but I would try to hinder the empowerment of the organisation as a whole at every opportunity. Eroding their independence and trying to make the Empire forcibly redirect focus of hunter's attention to Ecumene also sounds like a good play.

After years of this we are fated to finally meet when going for the Demon Lord Tun, where I planned to use this chance to leave the organisation headless. We are also both fated to survive it with our mentors and this encounter is the last for each of us, no more protection from Letters. Only her Letter is Vedi, she is still immortal for a century. My Letter is Kako.

Liriel, The Veilbreaker (https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96447166/#96451577): Chill elven hermit, who is going to leave for Orthrung at the first opportunity. We will definitely meet sooner or later, because I am not going to give up in my search for Eirina and bound to hear something about Liriel's plans in the process. I actually quite like her idea. Sure, if everything works out with my plan it becomes redundant, but it can take a long time. And I may die in the process, without ever reaching that goal. It would be nice to have restored Orthrung as a half-lving half-dreaming world after that to retire to.

I would like to establish a research partnership with her, since our subjects of interest are quite close in nature. Orthrung is quite far away, but as soon as I manage to establish a manifestation spot there for Overflowing Eye we will have an opportunity to meet regularly. If we join our forces, either Orthrung reclamation or Underground reclamation is bound to work out, right?

12thโ€™s mandatory Academy Arc (โ„ข).
Going to only have my mental gifts, seraphic wings, and my demon lord powers after sharing.
I'm going to found a mixture of an academy and exploration guild in Dis, where students will be taught all of my tricks and then sent out to find lost knowledge and bring it back. R+D of newer technology will be made, particularly how to use magic to replicate industrial solutions to advance metallurgy and chemistry to jump start firearm productions and electricity utilization. This will be sold to Dis and distributed to allies.

As a Demon Lord, I will keep a low profile, making only exceptional majin followers who will be laundered through my Academy as โ€˜legitimateโ€™ students. After the Breaking and Entering encounter, I will use the portal to create a base in Orthrung, a place no one will be watching. There I will ramp up my Majin production tremendously. They will terraform the local area using a variety of means with Undead being used as the main labor force to save resources.

At that point the academy should be big enough and subsidized by Dis to easily send funds towards developing my base in Orthrung. I will try to be an Aat type Demon Lord who is loved by his subordinates.

The fact that Majin can use their personal Letters of the Damned spells as much as possible is highly promising and lets them bypass the limitations of exhausted meanings and if the correct ones can be made, the industrial value would be immense. A magnetization majin or metal purifying majin would be amazing.

Going to try and correct Alezandre and redeem him.

For fellow riders, they are welcome to come and learn my techniques if they want them. I will take a backseat to the 0^0 problem and other issues as I focus on my own projects. Supplying them with my technology advancements should help in general.

More than that, she can Deus Ex any spell that doesn't directly target you and DotA will do nothing. That means:

- Every common offensive spell like fireball or lightning bolt
- Feodwra time bullets
- Summon spam (majin or undead variation)
- Esu-style dream labyrinth battlefield control
- Inborn gift emulation (including the forever-terrifying triple witchshot)
- Perfect teleportation
- Precognition

...and that's just what we know about directly from the CYOA that I was able to find in a few minutes of rereading.

I think contradictions are more of an agreement thing for the elder gods, for Charlie its lethal cause she is far bellow a elder god. They just probably don't abuse it cause they have an agreement with one another and agreement between them matters a lot more for them than the ephemeral mortal world, it can always be reset. Like the resetting power on itself would seem to create a ton of contradictions as it just deletes all future plotlines, so I think they can actually pull a lot more of this contradiction causing stuff if they really wanted to. Like Mithra can just come in and start writing fan fiction to overwrite the plot, the other elder gods can probably do the same stuff, they are just nerfing themselves for the plot.

Yphont's world-scale feat involved triggering her own death letter. It was a one-time thing; not something that can replicated without setting up the proper conditions.

Every world-scale feat that outsiders have performed has been like this. Charli nuked the Orthrung, but she can't do it again. One's corpse is powering the anti-magic of Entramithraic, it can't also be used to give Everman power.

If you can't suss her out based on the info given (she's hiding as a non-system NPC who's betrayal would hurt the most) it's a skill issue. After you find her out you just assassinate her first while not giving away that you know. Also, View of Fore trivializes her betrayal. Eye of Chaos x3 should also trivialize her by destroying her disguise and leaving her vulnerable enough to murder. Inner Vision x2 should let you instantly identify her as well. There are plenty of methods, that's just SOME of the eyes. The key is avoiding getting jumped by her.

You cannot do that since the encounter HAS to happen, you would just end up killing someone innocent and no gift would let you get away with stopping it.
That said, you can make a lot of preparations for when it happens and have several guesses about who it would be. Killing her is not impossible as some think, but it's also not trivial.

To give a serious answer, they wake up in the nearest dream. If you have dream passage, you can simply enter the dream and kill her there, for good.
Sufficiently destroying and scattering the corpse should also prevent resurrection. Or, of course, trapping her.

Even if you cannot do that, simply killing her over and over should do the trick.
