I prefer /100l/ over /hlg/ just for archival purposes but saying that /hlg/ would be confused for Half Life, unless you're baiting, is disingenuous; one look at the archive proves it.

Of the Half Life Generals, the first one (2019/09/14) was a total flop, with less than 5 replies, and the one time a Half Life thread got the "most" replies (on 2020/03/24, when it had the Alyx buff), it got less than 9 replies, and there was another one that also included Valve as a whole that got less than 32 replies. For comparison, last thread got 800 in a day.
Simply put: people who like Half Life go to reddit and /v/, and arguing that a thread called /hlg/ with
