Do leftists really, actually have sincere concern for "the poor" and such groups? The ways leftists define themselves confuses me because it seems totally focused on the wrong things and just downright gay. What drives them? If you aren't just baiting or a fed OP (please stop if so, please) what drives you? I just can't mentally put myself in the place of being a white guy robbing walmarts in San Francisco for impoverished brown people with contempt for the nation in which they reside, or doing advocacy in a pride parade or some such weird fucking thing, I can't relate to it, I fundamentally find it off putting and it makes me think of the space rocks meme that compares where right wing and left wing people allocate their concern. It's not that I lack a desire to help people, or to lift people upwards, far from it, but leftism seems like a perversion of it. I find it very difficult to beleive leftists don't suffer from a strong moral lassitude, but I won't project my own understanding onto them. I have a theory that political dichotomies may be hijacking genetic predispositions and don't necesarillly have to be completely opposed, to sow enmity, firstly, but also for the purpose of creating a managable cattle populace, but I digress.
