Suddenly her having bigger eyes than the other Mario girls + much bigger tits makes a lot of sense
DK games have hardly any narrative so it’s hard to argue about her role but at the very least her design is perfect for it and the entire thing makes her stand out a lot now in Mario games, way better than just the lame mayor role she had prior. Now she’s DK’s second little buddy.
