Did you know that Hindi isn't an organic language that simply evolved in India over time? The language called "Hindi" is actually something that a Scotsman named John Gilchrist constructed in an attempt to give the natives a lingua franca. Before that point, the only people who had something akin to a lingua franca were the Persianized über-elite of Mughals and Muslim rulers who utilized Urdu as their court language. That's right, anons. Jeets had severe difficulties communicating with one another until an European provided them with a common, formalized language. The more you look into it, the more you realize that the country known as "India" simply wouldn't exist if it weren't for the British Empire. India only continues to exist thanks to the inertia of the British Raj.
