Back when I thought the game was shit because the series had lost its identity becoming console trash like Crysis. On the first playthrough I thought it was shit because the game borrowed too many elements from other similar games at the time.

Whether it is because the industry regressed so severely my standards dropped or because the game on a second playthrough is just that good, I am having a lot of fun with this game on Insane difficulty.
Activate Za Warudo! Kung Fu everyone, drop kick a bozo with a head kick all the way to the first floor then Max Payne the rest. Toki wa ugokidasu. Take cover, time a grenade and shoot at it in mid air killing any remaining enemies.
The Penetrator is so cool.
