It's just a technically correct label to say they're fans but useless from growing the business for SNK.

This is why I don't like people saying Central and South America are huge KOF fans. . . they're only fans of specific fightcade KOF's. They don't respond for Mitenkun and any other new characters because they don't know them well enough and never will.

If they don't spend any money, how can SNK possibly farm them. They're useless to them.

I would posit they literally cannot and will not spend money because they're already too poor and just emu play on their toasters. PS3/4 was $1000 USD in Brazil at one point. A mid graphics card + mid CPU to play their 3D kof's are out of their range too. There will never be enough people in that region to get enough traction for online play on steam/console. So it's a self-fulfilling cycle of not-buying modern hardware and they're stuck on Fightcade.
