Ig it's good to know there are other people like me out there, and I can assure you the job market in my country (Germany) is about as doomed as anywhere else. It seems to be a global and generational thing. Us zoomers are even worse off than millenials back then.
I cope by thinking about how even people who put in much more effort than me are still struggling to find anything. The "just learn how to code bro" days seem truly over for everyone rn, but as you said what else can you realistically do? I'm not sure what it's like in the uk, but where I live internships for people that are not in college are very rare probably because companies would have to pay you in some way. So getting experience AFTER graduating is somehow even harder than during college, lol. 99% of internship offers say "must be enrolled". Fucking shoot me already.
I've been semi-neeting this whole time while writing my bachelor thesis but I cannot afford that anymore because despite living with my dad I've got medical bills to pay and stuff like that. So now I have to find a wagie job asap just to not get anal fucked by the state and live like a slave. I truly hate this timeline.
