IDW's Prime adaptation could have been another chance for Nine to have a good story but instead it's just Prime screenshots with some text on top

What I meant is that all of them have next to nothing to do with the games. THe closest is Sonic X's adaptation of the Adventure games and it's more of a secondary thing for the show, and it was years after the games came out. And all the other cartoons are completely detached from the games
