A lot of people don’t realize that once a war begins war regime takes over and priorities shift toward survival military spending and resource allocation.
In that state normal economic logic like attracting foreign investment long term development projects or business expansion tends to collapse.
The ones gaining benefits are naturally the Russians and of course the Americans and their military industrial complex including some people who are making a lot of money off that.
They both benefit.
Only ones who don’t benefit are naturally the country in question getting sacrificed and Europeans, in fact the circumstances are so ridiculous you would think the US and Russia collaborated just to fuck over Europe though I guess that’s reaching a bit exaggerated on my part.
