In the future there will be fully customizable sex robots and they'd be a huge industry, but the people who use them a lot would become the most miserable suicidal fucks on earth, and the academic research/news would report the ever rising suicide stats among this population. They could get fucked over in every way possible, but they could also find love or security or have cute kids and a billion descendants.
Same goes for artwork, the deluge of AI sloppa will soon become unappealing to the average normie. There will at least be a small market for genuine human-made commissioned artwork. People will crave human authenticity to the point of paying for it, knowing full well the risks of doing business with the average socially awkward and vaguely narcissistic artist. They could either get completely ripped off and then smeared online, or they could also build a deeper connection with another person who understands their tastes exactly or even shares those tastes. And they get to talk about this subject they care so much about with someone else. To be understood on such a specific level by a human artist is also a form of human relationship, it's part of what they're paying for.
Civitai isn't passionate about the same things you are. It just instantly shits out a picture of whatever you asked for, then waits silently for your next command once you're done consoooming its last product. For most people, the novelty will get old fast.
