Keep your eye on Hegseth at SecDef. I have suspected for a while that there is a reason he has survived like half a dozen scandals that would have normally gotten him fired. That there's a reason they pushed him through even when it was white knuckle in the Senate and Vance had to break the tie.

I think Hegseth is at Defense specifically to purge the military. He's already started to fire generals and admirals. He is Trump's hatchet man, maybe Thiel's hatchet man, and he is there to wipe out any resistance to Trump using the military however he wants, including domestically.

And, come to think of it, if you deal with the military you can use THEM to deal with the glowies. What the fuck's the CIA gonna do if Langley gets strafed by an A-10, after all?

Thematically the best vehicle mode for Megatron is an A-10 Warthog. The plane IS a gun, it's basically a flying gun. But it's too small, if it were Megatron's vehicle mode his robot mode would be shorter than Starscream, I think. And of course we can't have that.
