Been playing Dungeon Travelers 2, level 20 on chapter 5 at the moment. It's kinda alright so far, but too "grindy" IMO... well, it's more that the regular encounters demand a little bit of menu'ing and it adds up to the point of becoming exhausting, that combined with the fact that it takes too long to unlock new classes or have any interesting mechanics being unlocked to keep things fresh. Itemization is incremental trash with barely any affixes, let alone useful ones, but it seems things gets better later. Party building seems good, but then again you have to go through the grind of leveling another character. Boss fights are well balanced, I liked what I've seen so far. The game seems to really like probability games, most stuff that is guaranteed to happen in other games is just a chance to happen, even dispel is 70% to chance to succeed. Not having a battle log is a big flaw.

Cool game indeed. My main criticism is that the 3x3 grid system ends up being quite disappointing because passives are too strong, so you get too constrained on slots for active skills. Near the end of the game (main campaign) I ended up with a pretty much auto-battle build, only having to time my tank parry/block with the enemies threatening/debuff attacks, which in turn healed my party, that coupled with life leech mechanics for the other members. Still had plenty of fun, though. The core systems of the game have a lot of potential for improvement IMO.
