What's evil is allowing wolves to coexist with the sheep and actively preventing the sheep from protecting themselves when the shepherd is on lunch. We can argue about whether the wolf is evil because he kills or because he uses his sharp teeth to kill instead of bludgeoning the sheep to death but at the end of it the sheep is still dead, and it's dead because it couldn't fight back. It's your right to not want the responsibility that comes with being armed, but it's not your right to take away the rights of the other sheep not to be devoured by wolves whose nature it is to kill.
People like you live in a dream world where a "social worker" can protect you from someone who wants to hurt you using the power of their words. But there are people who cannot be talked down and will only respond to the threat, or implementation, of force. You need to face the facts.
