It's just Power/Aki/Makimafags (no Reze since no one cares before the movie released) were the majority of the Part 1 fanbase hence the sales drop once they realized Fujimoto was not doing fanservice shit for Part 2

Part 2 is the only manga where I am constantly flip-flopping between thinking is kino and shit week to week. It's so bizarre. The ending really is the lynchpin for this entire narrative
