Committing to MESBG now. I have the Pelennor Fields box, Mordor and Isengard Battlehosts, a War Mumak of Harad box, and a bunch of extra Rohan heroes. Mostly bought them all to paint eventually since I had no hope of playing anything any time soon. My son is old enough now and has been playing with me and seems to like monstrous models as he chooses the War Mumak when we play; he is now wanting either a Fangorn army or the Three Trolls from The Hobbit as options for a Christmas gift. Any experience with either of those armies? I think Three Trolls seems cool and probably the better gift since the whole army is just those three models.

Decided to start with Witch King since its easy enough to paint and its one of the nicest models in the range that I've seen.

Took a break from Heroquest to start painting my MESBG gray tide and I'm trying to paint this range more subtle and "realistic", instead of my more cartoony vibrant style. Great model to paint, quick and fun.
