I think the drones won't even be detected by the crews until they start detonating on armour.
And even if they're detected, the window of time to hit them with the 50 cal (shooting drones with the main gun, lel) will be too brief and further shortened by having to rotate the 50 cal towards the direction of the drone.
The only reliable defence against drones would be a slat armour box around the entire tank except maybe the turret cheeks. And certainly slat armour over the roof of the turret and the hull covers and front upper plate, which is quite thin.
All of this would add a ton of weight to an already very heavy tank. But anything short of this would be completely ineffective.
That document they shat out is to pretend there's anything they can do about drones with RPG warheads through tactics and crew training. Which there isn't.
