Humans, especially on websites like this, are pretty innately contrarian and like to see each other be proven wrong or lose. This general literally only exists out of contrarianism of "hey, maybe Jaycinthe isn't actually that bad of a design" only to unravel more potential and interesting character traits than half the other characters in the game. It feels like Game Freak only ended up putting in effort into her and Corbeau, because the other characters feel extremely underwhelming. Canari in particular feels desperate, especially giving her TWO characters that simp for her in-game

Maybe if it stood still but the animations and actions are 100% well done for Game Freak standards. It's the first time since their bullshit SwSh excuse I was actually impressed with animations in a Pokemon game. I feel like it was something that could be made only in this game and not any of the turn-based stuff, otherwise it would look as lazy as it seems on the surface
There's worse Megas in the game anyway like Feraligatr and Pyroar. Starmie couldn't even be the worst even if it tried
