Either I'm completely misunderstanding the situation or all of these game cards are completely unusable on any system that didn't have them registered to that specific system prior to the servers going down. So both new old stock that hasn't been registered, and trying to play used games on systems that they aren't registered to would be broken. Meaning they are the equivalent of Wiiware games that can still be run on the original system, but you can't re-download them or purchase them on a new system.

I specifically avoided those games 2bh, I know 99% of people don't care but the average console attach rate is pathetically low (like 10 games at best) and stuff like collector's editions is always going to be for nerds like me.
