They also never showed what the society of these islands (or at least Westside) are like, unless Forces is in line with how they imagined them in the 90s, which I doubt. I just thought of this, and while I know this goes against currently popular headcanons and TailsTube, is there even anything that would indicate Westside Island was supposed to be completely devoid of humans when the game was made? Not saying that's how it is, but these aspects of the world were explored so little that for all we know they may very well have been the original idea for all we know
