What makes a character "wind" you ask? Being WINDpilled is a very tricky thing for people to understand. Some believe it's being a renegade, or a rebel. To move in opposition to society, but this isn't the case. Some think it's to let go of earthly possessions, and hold nothing in particular importance and to live aloof and unbothered. This is also not it.

To be the wind, is to be a free spirit. To follow your heart, and to act, always, in accordance to your nature, for good or ill of the wider world. It's to be free of the self doubt of wondering if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing, and instead to do simply because you must, because it is who you are. This is why children have a high level of wind, even when constrained by their parents or guardians they live in accordance of their nature to an almost absolute degree, and this is why sonic is still the wind. He's still that boy running free across the hills. Many people grow up and lose their wind, caged and boxed up in society, expectations and obligations, playing their role rather than obeying their nature. That isn't to say that having a job or a role is to abandon the wind, but there is a difference between your role being defined by who you are rather than who you are being defined by your role.

Have you ever thought about how being the wind means that Sonic is free from being a mere slave to his own thoughts? He operates on the next level. Ascended. He gets to choose how he thinks unlike the rest of us. You can't control him, you can't corrupt him.

Which sonic girl gives the best head?
Gut answer is rouge or vanilla. Amy would be all icky about it and probably do it wrong. Blaze wouldn't even try she'd give you a half hearted handjob. IDW feels like less of a Sonic comic than Archie even though that is categorically untrue. IDW is more correct than Archie in most aspects regarding character and world. But it's things that really kill the vibe

Archie was infinitely worse here, especially with the incessant romance that in many cases involved just throwing away major personality traits that the games established.
IDW is hit with more scrutiny because it's meant to be canon, and unlike Archie it seems odly afraid to just be "cool" for the sake of "cool".
>In-universe demographics
Somehow Archie is closer to the games here. Humans are the larger populace in the Sonic world. This is true in every game where we get to see the population EXCEPT Sonic Forces which IDW is tied to.
This is especially bad when the new manga is even closer to the games in this regard. It's just begging for people to point at IDW and say "WRONG".
80 issues and the only two humans are Eggman and Witchcart. This is just not Sonic's world. Sonic's world is not and hever has been flowing with distinct colorful animal OCs. In the actual videogames it's extremely rare to run into a named character like this.

I would even agree the nuClassic misinterprets early 90s Sonic's tone and aesthetics in its attempt to recapture it. But, it's wrong to say the Adventure games weren't trying to differentiate themselves from early 90s Sonic to create something new.

Adventurenic is something unique, born from a desire to push the franchise into a new millennia on new hardware to give it a new start after a long hiatus. But it's also not early 90s Sonic, and I think the team that worked on those games would agree.

It is strange that Classic Sonic focuses on being cutesy and family friendly while, at least with Frontiers, it takes a hard 180 and goes full melodrama with what almost feels like obligatory shonen-style moments (i.e. the boss fights) that barely fit with the rest of the game.

I think SA2 made a potential "middle ground" between classic and modern is impossible. SA1 put it on the edge by deconstructing Classic's nature vs technology dichotomy and radically moving the setting from isolated islands to populated cities. But SA2 solidified Modern Sonic's new narrative tone away from anything resembling Classic Sonic.
